Big Dog Coffee Roasters operates out of the Caerphilly Borough in South Wales, with a roastery that doubles as a training facility and public space. They roast on a Diedrich IR-12, a US-made drum roaster well regarded in the specialty trade, and have built their sourcing around direct trade relationships with producers in Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala. The business is one of the more visible roasters in the Welsh independent coffee scene, running retail, wholesale, and barista training alongside the roastery.
