Cabresto, named after the coffee association in Andes, Antioquia, is a classic Colombian profile built on a vision of transparency and shared growth. Produced by a group of 30 smallholder farms, this lot reflects Lozana Organics’ commitment to bridging the gap between dedicated producers and specialty roasters. It is a coffee rooted in the belief that when farmers are supported with fair, stable pricing, they can focus on the art of exceptional quality. The high-altitude slopes of western Antioquia benefit from humid air currents and cool nights, leading to a slower maturation that develops deep complexity within the cherry. This extended development results in a vibrant cup featuring bright citric acidity and a balanced body, layered with traditional notes of panela and chocolate. More than just a classic profile, Cabresto is about connection: between the small-scale growers in Santa Inés and the final drinker. It is a thoughtful, expressive coffee that captures the spirit of collaboration at the heart of the Antioquian coffee community.
