Ireme, meaning “Authentic”, is an experimental lot created with one clear intention: to connect producers and drinkers through a truly expressive cup of Rwandan coffee. Produced by Gasharu Coffee, this lot reflects a belief that coffee farming, processing, and consumption shouldn’t exist in isolation — each stage should be shaped with the other in mind. The team at Gasharu carefully manages fermentation time and conditions to build depth, clarity, and complexity, resulting in a cup designed to be both memorable and representative of Rwanda’s potential. Every processing decision is made with the end cup — and the person drinking it — firmly in focus. Ireme is about more than flavour.
