Ritual Coffee Roasters was founded in 2019 by Courtney Conroy and Callum Lister, initially to raise the quality of coffee available in Cheltenham and the surrounding Cotswolds. The roastery operates from Cheltenham, where it also runs a brew bar and kitchen serving brunch alongside its coffee. The business is oriented towards wholesale, positioning support for hospitality accounts as a core part of what it does rather than an add-on. Sourcing is built around long-term producer relationships, with the founders having visited farms directly. The roastery profiles and refines each batch before it goes out, with the aim of consistency across both core blends and rotating seasonal lots.
