The Welsh Coffee Company is based at Ewenny in the Vale of Glamorgan, operating two Probat coffee roasters and a café alongside their Ogmore-by-Sea coffee shop. Founded in 2011, they produce lighter roasted speciality coffees inspired by their outdoor lifestyle of surfing, walking and yoga. Dragon — their Probat roaster — creates the flame behind their five Great Taste award-winning coffees, all roasted using electricity to minimise fossil fuel use.
