Velo Coffee Roasters began alongside a Cork City cafe, with owner Rob Horgan training on a Probat roaster in Germany in 2018 before launching commercially through the Grow with Aldi programme. Based in Ireland, Velo works with supplier Covoya to maintain traceability back to individual farms. The focus is specialty coffee in retail formats, with a stated commitment to supporting the farming communities in their supply chain.
