Grown at elevations between 1,900 and 2,200 metres, Buture produces exceptional washed and natural coffees. The region’s favourable tropical climate and abundant rainfall contribute to the distinctiveness of its coffee. This washed lot made up of varieties 74110 and 74112 delivers a vibrant and complex cup, featuring notes of stone fruits, grapefruit, fudge, and dark chocolate, balanced by bright acidity and a smooth sweetness. With an impressive cup score of 86.5, Buture showcases the quality and character that Ethiopian coffees are celebrated for, offering a clean, elegant profile that highlights the unique terroir of the region.
