Saints of Mokha
Saints of Mokha is an independent roastery in Leicester, founded in 2016 and named after Ali Ben Omar, the Sufi Saint from the Yemeni port city of Mokha credited with discovering coffee and making it the first city to export the bean eastward. That founding story informs the brand's stated mission to reconnect with Yemen's coffee history while sourcing from producers elsewhere. The business has accumulated genuine competition credentials: a 2nd place finish at the World Barista Championship and a 1st place at the Australian Coffee Championship. Alongside online retail, Saints of Mokha runs a training school and an on-site roastery, and supplies wholesale accounts across the Midlands.
