Lost Sheep Coffee
Lost Sheep Coffee was founded in 2012 by Stuart and Sarah, who discovered specialty coffee in Melbourne and brought an Australian-influenced approach back to the UK. The roastery is based in Whitstable, Kent. The Aussie-style positioning is not just branding; it shapes how the roastery communicates about coffee, favouring accessibility over formality. Beyond whole bean and ground coffee, Lost Sheep has developed a broader range of coffee formats including ready-to-drink iced coffee cans, espresso concentrate and home compostable Nespresso-compatible pods. The same beans used for retail are used across all formats, and full origin traceability is maintained throughout the product line. All packaging is fully recyclable and the Nespresso-compatible capsules are certified home compostable. The business works directly with family farms where possible and reports paying above standard Fairtrade prices.
