Lands End Coffee

Land's End Coffee was started by Ryan, who grew up on the Isles of Scilly and spent most of his life near the sea. The idea came after a trip to Bali, where open-plan in-house roasting at local coffee shops prompted him to try something similar in Cornwall. He taught himself to roast on a one-kilo machine he named Brenda, working out of a converted millbarn before moving to a 20ft steel shipping container a short walk from Land's End itself. The business has since expanded beyond its original container. In 2023, the team opened Tehidy Woods Cafe within Tehidy Country Park, a woodland site serving food and coffee to walkers and families. The roastery itself moved again to a larger facility in Threemilestone to keep pace with growing wholesale demand. Their sourcing includes women's cooperatives in coffee-growing regions. The roastery is based in Cornwall and ships across the UK.
