Peaberry is grown in acidic soils that produce bold, complex flavours and a well-rounded aroma. This rare bean - also known as Caracoli - forms when a coffee cherry develops a single oval bean instead of two, a natural occurrence in only around 5% of crops. Peaberries are prized for their enhanced intensity and sweetness, often described as having “double strength.” Country: Kenya Region: Tatu Altitude: 1,500–2,200 masl Varietal: Caracoli Process: Washed Tasting Notes: Chocolate, raisin, sweet Sign up to our newsletter Sign up with your email address to receive news and updates.
