Comsa School Project 100% Organic
From the COMSA cooperative in Marcala, Honduras, this organic coffee reflects a deep commitment to land, community and long term change. Grown with a focus on biodiversity and ecological balance, it is a coffee rooted in care, patience and purpose. In the cup, expect jammy fruit and a delicate blood orange sweetness, layered with nutty almond and cashew, rich chocolate, and smooth honey and caramel notes. The finish is comforting and nostalgic, with a sweet caramac and tunnock’s wafer character. COMSA is one of Honduras’ most influential cooperatives, representing more than 1,600 smallholder farmers. Their vision extends far beyond coffee, embracing economic resilience, environmental stewardship and community wellbeing. This philosophy is perhaps best seen in the COMSA International School, an ambitious education project they created to expand opportunity in the region. Open to the wider community and largely supported through scholarships, the school nurtures confident, multilingual students with a strong sense of curiosity, ambition and social responsibility.
