EL Refugio Geisha Green

Green (unroasted) washed Geisha from the Agudelo Uribe family at El Refugio Estate in Villamaría, Caldas, Colombia — grown at 1,750-2,050 metres on volcanic soils near the Ruiz Volcano. Scores 87.5 SCA points. Processed on a low-water-use Ecomill. Roasted, this lot produces lemon zest, mango, buttery notes and black tea. We roast it light — a good starting point if you're roasting it yourself. Sold unroasted for home and small-batch roasters, in very limited quantity — once this lot sells out it won't be repeated. Store in a cool, dry place away from light — green coffee keeps well for up to 12 months.
