Our House Short & Curly’s House Blend Roast: Medium/Dark From where : Africa/Brazil Why is it a blend? The taste of a coffee mainly depends on where its grown. The altitude, soil and environment can have a big effect on the taste, so obviously different countries then produce different tasting coffees. We often drink coffee from a single country/farm/estate to taste that coffees particular characteristic, much like Wine from an estate. We can therefore blend different coffees to create a unique drink with properties of numerous countries or farms! For example, A bean from one country might be sweet and a bean from another might give a great colour. So, we mix those to give us a sweet cup with a nice dark colour. Simples. For this blend we wanted to make an everyday,easy drinking cup. Nice and round that works well with milk for Lattes and Flat Whites.
