Tiku'va

We are delighted to return to one of your favourite origins as we bring you this stunning new coffee from Mexico! An 87 point (SCA) scoring coffee sourced from Ensambles who are an independent company based in Mexico, and importantly, work directly with small-scale indigenous producers, promoting agroforestry systems and regenerative agriculture. This coffee is a find; one that is super sweet on espresso with a marzipan pastry body with a medium acidity. When paired with milk, there is maraschino liqueur feel to the cup, giving it a super uniqueness and lovely vanilla after taste. Juicy on filter, it is also a delightful clean and crisp coffee with a nutty finish. We love its delicate body, touch of cherry and stone fruit, and the rounded vanilla and caramel finish to the cup. Try on AeroPress for an extra special drinking experience. The Tiku ('Butterfly' in the Mixteca indigenous language) is a community lot from Sierra Mixteca, in Oaxaca and it is these indigenous communities that farm the small lots on the Sierra Madre del Sur mountain range in the shade grown method. Oaxaca only produces 10% of all the coffee in the country, and is often seen as the home of 'speciality' in Mexico. Importer: Ensambles SCA: 87
