Process : Washed Notes : Plum, Nougat, Almond Our July coffee release comes from China Alta, an emerging coffee-growing region in the Central Andes of Tolima, close to Los Nevados Natural Park. Grown between 1,600–2,000 metres above sea level, the area's volcanic soils, cool climate and high elevation provide ideal conditions for producing expressive, high-quality coffees. This lot is produced by a group of dedicated smallholder farmers who continue to cultivate traditional varieties, predominantly Colombia and Caturra. Although relatively remote, China Alta is gaining recognition for coffees with remarkable clarity, structure and character, reflecting both the region's exceptional growing conditions and generations of coffee-growing knowledge.
