Muki

Norman Mukuru has been in coffee his whole life. The ‘Coffee Yard’ brings together all of his knowledge and understanding - with a reputation for high quality naturals it’s a place where amazing coffees are carefully curated and processed. Norman’s working with our longtime partners in Uganda, The Coffee Gardens . We have always sourced washed coffees from this region but when we heard about this project - and tasted the samples - we were excited to bring some back here to the roastery. Muki is an abbreviation of Norman Mukuru and Maria Kirya’s names - the team who prepared this microlot for us. We were looking for something that was boozy, sweet and balanced - we’re really happy with the results and excited to start this new collaboration.
