A beautiful coffee from the oldest farm in Antigua, Guatemala. Very sweet, easy drinking and suitable for all brew methods. Back for a 4th year and its tasting better than ever! Process Fully washed Varietals Bourbon, Caturra & Villa Sarchi Altitude 1500 - 1700m.a.s.l. Tasting notes Bergamot - Chocolate - Brown Sugar Finca Filadelfia was the first farm in Antigua. The Dalton family honours its coffee growing heritage and the farm is now operated by Marta and Alex Dalton. Manuel Matheu initially borrowed the land at Filadelfia, where he planted some coffee in 1864. Manuel sold his first crop in London, and after returning he was commissioned by the President of Guatemala to show small farmers how to grow coffee. Thus the Antigua coffee growing region was born. Eventually, Manuel’s son purchased what is now Finca Filadelfia. The passion for coffee has been passed down for 6 generations. Marta and Alex’s great grandmother Elisa ran the farm until she was 95 years old and won the first two Cup of Excellence in 2001 and 2002. This is the second time we've had a lot from Finca Filadelfia, and we're very happy for it! The carbon footprint from this coffee's journey has been offset twice. This includes boiling your kettle to brew it. The packaging is biodegradable and recyclable. Bike delivery or postage is included. One love.
