From the Kahuhia Farmers Cooperative Society which comprises of four wet mills, Wanjegi’s sister factories in the society are Kahuhia, Ngwethe and Gathinja. The coop has 16 permanent staff. Wanjengi wet mill has 1549 active members (1184 male, 362 female. It is Main crop is harvested in October through December and Fly crop in April through June each year.
