Sourced from the Rwenzori region of Uganda, this naturally processed coffee is exported by Kwezi Coffee. A company led by second generation coffee professionals, sisters Barbara Mugeni and Pamella Kampire. The story of Kwezi Coffee begins on their father’s farm, where Barbara and Pamella learned the balance of farm management, coffee sales, and environmental care from their parents. Their work connects the dedication of countless women in Uganda’s coffee fields with roasters and drinkers worldwide. This coffee is dried with the fruit still intact, allowing sugars to infuse deeply into the bean. The result is a cup that is fruit forward and beautifully complex. Roasted specifically for espresso, it delivers a rich and deep profile with tasting notes of dark honey, chocolate, and sweet fruit. Offering both depth and sweetness in every cup.
