Mbili Twiga

This coffee is bursting with juicy forest fruits! A vibrant cup packed with notes of blackberries, raspberries and strawberries. In Tanzania, most coffee is produced by smallholder farmers, with around 90% grown on farms smaller than one hectare. Producers typically work through Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) and Rural Cooperative Societies (RCS), while Cooperative Unions and larger estates manage exports. This coffee is a blend, named Mbili Twiga to reflect that coming together, Mbili Twiga translates as “two giraffes.”
