Guatemala Huehuetenango
Guatemala Huehuetenango makes for very smooth drinking and with heavy cocoa notes is suitable for any brew method. One of the most Western growing regions, near the border to Mexico, this Highland coffee is grown at elevations between 1600-1700 metres. Average temperature is about 23 degrees C and it’s a particularly stable area for temperature. Average annual rainfall in the region is about 1,800 mm and the humidity is a somewhat consistent 70%. Mexico’s Tehuantepec plain (a vast, hot, broad, plateau like ridge) protects the plants in the colder seasons by blowing hot and dry winds through.
