Peru Los Amigos Del Oso

Description Regions Peru, South America Roast Medium Varietal Typica, Caturra, Mundo Novo, Bourbon, Catimor, Imperial, Pache, Catuai Process Washed Los Amigos del Oso means ‘The friends of the Bear’. The El Oso project was set up to help conserve forests near coffee growing areas in San Iganacio, where spectacled bears (like our friend Paddington) and other native animals face huge pressures and are in danger of extinction. Through both organic farming methods and fairtrade certification the project tries to encourage and cultivate a culture of the protection of wildlife. Suitable for all brewing methods it produces a wonderfully complex cup, there is a beautifully sweet nutty flavour offset with notes of zesty orange marmalade and cranberries. A coffee fit for Paddington himself!
