Vermelha Mantiquera

Vermelha Mantiqueira is our new house Brazil coffee , sourced through our friends at DR Wakefield. This coffee is grown in the mountain range that stretches across San Paulo. It also adjoins the Minas Gerais Region which is the geographical home of specialty coffee in Brazil. This is a blend of coffee from two farms: Sitio Da Torre and Tres Barras, located in the hills surrounding Carmo de Minas. We selected this coffee for its flavour with a similar cup profile to the very popular Espirito Santo. It has sweetness, a rounded body, and notes of toasted hazelnut and cocoa. We’ve roasted it medium to create a coffee that is both delicious as espresso and suitable for all brew methods.
