Roasted in small batches to ensure maximum freshness! Our Fairtrade Peruvian single origin beans have been carefully selected for a coffee that’s designed for lazy mornings. The roast combines subtle hints of walnut and caramel and a sweet milk chocolate finish. The 100% Arabica beans strike the perfect balance of rich and smooth for a soothing, well-rounded experience. The beans are grown primarily in the Andean mountain regions, with natural shade to protect the coffee trees. CECOVASA was founded in 1970, when a group of Peruvian coffee farmers in the Lake Titicaca region of Peru came together to find a better way to sell their coffee. CECOVASA, which is comprised of eight cooperatives, has participated in the Fairtrade market for ten years and sells directly to the U.S. and European markets. Its members are primarily from the indigenous Quechua and Aymará tribes. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure our beans are of the highest quality, as well as being sourced ethically and sustainably. This helps us to support the industry, the farmers and of course… their goats.
