Ethically and sustainably sourced, 100% Fairtrade certified. Roasted in small batches to ensure maximum freshness! Our Fairtrade, single origin Honduran beans offer a well-rounded flavour with creamy undertones. Subtle notes of nuttiness can be detected alongside hints of caramel that develop well with milk. The roast contains 100% Arabica beans that are ethically and sustainably sourced. The beans are produced by COAGRICSAL, which is one of the largest first tier organisations for Fairtrade coffee in Honduras. Currently there are over 700 members who benefit from fair pay and community support programmes. Founded in 1998 it has grown to incorporate Santa Barbara. The cooperative has washing, drying, storage and tasting facilities on site. Members are supported with access to credit, coffee nurseries and agronomy advice. Various premiums gained from third party accreditation schemes have also been spent on facilities in the area, these are open to members and the local community which goes a long way towards improving the lives of those that live there. We’ve worked tirelessly to ensure our beans are of the highest quality, as well as being sourced ethically and sustainably. This helps us to support the industry, the farmers and of course… their goats.
