Situated on the border of Kayanza province, the Ninga hills rise between 1,800 and 2,000 masl. Ninga is home to 764 coffee farmers who cultivate coffee in every available space - from the edges of narrow dirt paths winding through the hills to the very doorsteps of their homes. Ninga Washing Station was born out of seeing the farmers' unwavering dedication, driven by the challenges of cultivating coffee on difficult terrain and traveling miles to process their harvest.
