☕ Zambia Kateshi Estate Natural – [Light/Medium Roast] Flavour Profile: Lime candy, boozy, toasted nuts Body: Medium Acidity: Bright, zesty Roast Level: Light/Medium 🌍 Overview This one's from Kateshi Estate in Zambia's Northern Province, up near the Mafinga Hills, some of the highest ground in the country, and about as good as it gets for growing Arabica this far south. Kateshi's been at it since 1972, one of the first coffee estates in the region, and it's stayed a genuine engine for the local community, funding clean water, schools and the only health clinic for miles, and putting women into estate roles that would traditionally have gone to men only. The coffee itself is naturally processed: ripe cherries hand-picked, then dried whole on raised beds over three to four weeks, turned regularly so the fruit sugars work their way into the bean as it dries. That's what gives you this cup its character, lime candy zing up front, something almost boozy underneath, settling into toasted nuts. Not a shy, polite coffee. One for people who like a bit of a wild card in the cup. 🏡 Perfect For: Filter or pour-over is where this one gets to show off, that lime and booziness needs room to breathe. Also a fun one for AeroPress if you want to play with it. We wouldn't reach for this over milk, it's built to be drunk black and paid attention to. 📦 Coffee Details
