Colombia La Providencia Pink Bourbon Origin: Colombia Region: Huila Altitude: 1750 MASL Farm: La Providencia Farmer: Fabian Acevedo Variety: Pink Bourbon Process: Washed Fabian is a fourth generation producer. “My father Álvaro Acevedo was the one who got me involved in coffee, motivating me to learn more about quality.” Alvaro started learning more about fermentation and processing, and achieved positive results and higher coffee quality. The family began this journey in 2006, when they produced clean washed coffee with lots of room to improve. In 2013 they started modifying their fermentation practices with good results. Finally, after many years of tenacious work, they saw a big boost in quality in 2018.
