Chocolatey & spicy Arabica

This slightly unusual coffee has flavours of chocolate and, possibly unexpectedly by the uninitiated, tobacco and aniseed. Together they fuse to produce a delicious combination. The beans are fully washed which help to emphasise its light body, with a fruity and complex acidity comparable to that of its more prestigious Kenyan neighbours. It is refreshing and great for anytime drinking (except, perhaps, before bed, when you might like to try one our Swiss Water decaffeinated blends!). Rwanda has been growing coffee only since 1904 and is still often overlooked. Some consider Rwandan coffee inferior when compared to its more prestigious neighbour, Kenya, but this is an excellent, if underrated, coffee and not one to overlook if you enjoy drinking lighter coffee throughout the day.
